Tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate. The world watches anxiously, while behind the scenes of weapons and political rhetoric, civilians in both countries—and even in Palestine—are increasingly at risk.
The ultimate goal of religion is to preserve life, not extinguish hope.
In Islam, protecting human life (hifzh an-nafs) is a core principle. No act of jihad is legitimate without considering its impact on innocent lives. Likewise, in other religions, human life is the most sacred gift from God.
War will only deepen suffering.
Not only will the people of Iran and Israel become victims, but also the Palestinians, who have long suffered under the oppression of Israeli Zionism. A large-scale war may even be used as justification by Zionist forces to escalate aggression and massacres in Gaza and the West Bank.
If we are truly fighting in the name of religion and justice, then stop the war that sacrifices innocent people.
Do not let political powers manipulate the emotions of the faithful. Let us not allow a noble intention to defend Palestine become a disaster that worsens their suffering.
Religion calls us to be wise, not reckless.
Restraint in anger is true strength. Diplomacy rooted in divine values is far nobler than blind revenge.
A call to Muslim leaders and world leaders:
If you truly stand for Palestine, then stop the war and protect lives.
Because one bullet today could mean hundreds of lives lost tomorrow.
